CLOSURE OF UNIVERSITY OF GHANA

I write on behalf of Management to announce that the University of Ghana has been closed with effect from Monday, 16^th March, 2020, until further notice. This is in compliance with the directive by the President of the Republic that all universities should be closed.

The University will operate as it does when there is no teaching, mindful of all the directives given by the President and the University of Ghana Emergency Response Team (UG-ERT) regarding preventive measures. Heads of Unit are expected to take the lead in this.

Any member of the community who shows any symptoms of the common cold is advised to call for assistance. Students should stay behind to be examined and cleared by University of Ghana Health Services before they can leave:
