Dr. Kwame Osei-Poku is a Senior Lecturer in Literature (Postcolonial Literature, African Intellectual Literary History, African-authored Travel Writing, Creative Nonfiction, and Futuristic/Fantasy/Supernatural African Literature) at the Department of English, University of Ghana. He is currently the Academic Advisor/Exams Coordinator at the International Programmes Office, and his main role is to assist the Dean (IPO) and the International Programmes Office on International Students’ Academic Issues to ensure efficient and effective outcomes on the following tasks: 

- Student Academic and Course Registration as well as other related academic issues: Ensure students meet prerequisites and graduation requirements.
- Liaise and act as bridge between international students, faculty, and administrative departments.
- End of semester examinations: facilitating return of examination grades on time, processing transcripts, and managing academic records and also work with relevant offices to arrange accommodations for students with peculiar considerations, disabilities or other special needs.
