    Eligibility:

    1. 1. MPhil Part 1 students; 
    2. 2. PhD students who have successfully completed their coursework. 

    Under this agreement, the selected students will receive stipends for the semester (four months) to cover boarding/lodging and return flight tickets.  However, the students will be responsible for processing their visas and must also make provision for out-of-pocket expenses for incidentals. 

    The nominees are expected to pre-finance their accommodation and return flight tickets.

    The International Programmes Office has received notice of placement for one (1) outstanding undergraduate student from the under-listed study areas to participate in a student exchange programme at Soka University, Japan, for the Spring Semester (April to July 2023).

    Under this agreement, Soka University will waive tuition and accommodation fees for the selected student as well as a scholarship of 80,000 yen will be granted.  However, the student will be responsible for processing his/her visa and must also make provision for out-of-pocket expenses for incidentals. The nominees are expected to pre-finance their accommodation and return flight tickets.

  • ALBERT-LUDWIG-UNIVERSITY (ALU) OF FREIBURG, GERMANY

    The International Programmes Office has placements for two PhD students from the University of Ghana to participate in the Freiburg Global Exchange Programme at Albert-Ludwig-University of Freiburg for the Summer Semester (April to September 2023) for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. 

    Albert-Ludwig-University will provide the selected students stipends of €900 per month for their stay and other allowable expenses. However, the students will be responsible for processing their visas and for the cost of out-of-pocket expenses for incidentals.

    The International Programmes Office has placements for two (2) outstanding University of Ghana students (undergraduate and graduate) from the under-listed study areas to participate in an exchange programme at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies (TUFS) Japan for the Spring Semester (April to July 2023).

    Under this agreement, TUFS will waive tuition, examinations and entrance fees for the selected students.  However, the students will be responsible for processing their visas, accommodation, flight tickets, and other allowable expenses for incidentals.
