KOC UNIVERSITY, TURKEY
The International Programmes Office has placements for two outstanding MPhil Part 1 students to participate in an Erasmus+ student exchange programme at Koç University, Turkey, for the Spring Semester from January to June 2024.

Under this agreement, the selected students will receive stipends for the semester to cover boarding/lodging and return flight tickets. However, the students will be responsible for processing their visas and must also make provision for out-of-pocket expenses for incidentals. The nominees are expected to pre-finance their accommodation and return flight tickets.
Interested students should submit the following application documents to Mrs. Rosemary Tagoe at sacip@staff.ug.edu.gh and copy Mrs. Barbara K. Blankson at arip@ug.edu.gh:
- 1. A well written letter of intent explaining the nature of studies or research to be undertaken; the rationale for study in Istanbul and; and how the proposed programme of study or research will relate to their future career (maximum one page).
- 2. Details page of passport with an expiration date beyond December 2025
- 3. A letter of attestation;
- 4. A letter of recommendation from the student’s head of department; explaining the nature of study or research to be undertaken in Istanbul and how the candidate and the home institution will benefit from this scholarship programme (maximum one page). Please include email address(es);
- 5. Original academic transcripts;
- 6. Proof of Proficiency in English letter (students to request for the proof of proficiency letter from the Language Centre using the academic transcript);
- 7. Current curriculum vitae;
- 8. One passport size photo.

The International Programmes Office has received notice of placement for one outstanding University of Ghana student from the under-listed departments to participate in an exchange programme at the University of Bonn, Germany for the summer semester (April to July 2024). Eligibility:

University of Bonn through the Global Exchange Programme will provide selected students stipend of €650 per month for their stay and other allowable expenses. However, the students will be responsible for processing their visas and for the cost of out-of-pocket expenses for incidentals.
