Child Survival: Management of the Sick Child

This course is available open to all visiting students but only as a second semester course.

Course Content

The course introduces students into integrated management of neonatal and childhood illnesses (IMnCI), focuses on improving case management skills of health-care staff, improving the overall health systems, improving family and community health practices, algorithms for diagnosis and treatment of Acute Respiratory Infections, Diarrhoea, malaria, ear infection, malnutrition and vaccination status. Community IMCI.
