The International Programmes Office announces for the information of the general public that applications for the admission of prospective applicants into various degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year have been opened.
Prospective applicants should take note of the following:
All applicants are expected to pay the university a non-refundable application processing fee of US$55.00. This fee can be paid online as part of the application process or wire transferred into the University of Ghana ECOBANK Account.

Prudential Bank Ltd (PBL)PAPSS (Pan-African Payment and Settlement System)
This payment platform allows students from participating African countries to pay their fees in their local currencies.
Currently, PAPSS is available in the following countries:
Nigeria, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Procedure
Initiation: The student will visit any of the member banks on PAPSS located outside Ghana to make the fee payment via PAPSS.
Complete PAPSS Form: The student will need to fill out a request form provided by the sending bank.
Requirements: Students must complete the request form by providing transaction details, including UG’s PBL account, Payment Types (Fees), Student’s ID, Amount and Transaction Date.
Sending Bank: The sending Bank will initiate the request on the PAPSS platform by selecting Prudential Bank as the Beneficiary Bank and providing details such as the receiving account number (UG’s PBL Account Number), Student’s ID and Student’s Name.
PAPSS Transfer: UG’s Account will be credited in real-time. (PAPSS Transfer to School’s Account)
The pay-in-slips, together with applicants’ certificates/result slips should be scanned and attached to the online application form before submission online. The certificates/results slips should be scanned into one PDF or WORD document and attached to the application form.
Please note that no application will be processed without proof of payment of the fee.
