Mr. Albert Adjekum Essuman is a Recruitment Officer at the Intenational Programmes Office, (IPO) University of Ghana. He joined the University of Ghana in August, 2015 as Assistant Recruitment Officer and was subsequently promoted to the rank of Recruitment Officer in July, 2017 to assist IPO market the University and to increase enrollment of international students.

He works with a recruitment team with an immediate focus on recruitment of international students and a development of current and new international markets. He leverages technology to develop and execute strategies to achieve international student recruitment targets, develop existing and future international target markets and ensure a smooth and effective integration and retention of recruited students. He analyses recruitment data to guide decision making at IPO.

Albert is a commonwealth shared scholar with an MSc. in Energy Management from Robert Gordon University, Scotland (UK), and an active member of American International Recruitment Council (AIRC). Prior to joining the University of Ghana, he worked in management capacity for a number of Ghanaian and UK firms including, MTN-Ghana, Bank of Africa, Dunelm Mill Limited and Robert Gordon University.
